The breakfast buffet was served during reasonable hours and had a decent variety. The breakfast area was very cute with bright colours and excellent shade from the sun. There was a great variety of restaurants on the same street as the hotel. The hotel was also in excellent walking distance to major sights (Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Forum) and shopping.
There were no "please do not disturb" signs for the door to keep the cleaning ladies out. There was no internet or wi-fi access at the hotel, but a restaurant on the same street gave us their internet password so we could use our ipod. There were no TV channels in English.
The beauty of it, friendly staff and the neighborhood feel you got while eating breakfast or walking the streets.
excellent location, very friendly, good service
we had a bit of a problem with the bill going off our credit card account twice, but they solved it after a mail within a few days, so no problems there
Near to all of Romes atractions, small supermarket across the street, plenty of wonderfull restaurants tucked away in little side streets. The hotel is spotlessly clean and full of character with wonderfull owners and staff.Had a great 4 days, would certainly use this establishment again and have no problem reccomending it to other travellers.
Location and staff, nice wallpaper
We were guests at your hotel in the last weekend (18-20 October 2012) and we would like to thank you for your nice hospitality. We had a great time in Rome and staying in your hotel was part of our good experience.
Perfect central location for exploring Rome. Exceptionally clean and well attended. Outstanding staff - willing to go above and beyond to assist guests. Wonderful breakfast in lovely setting. Loved our stay at Hotel Artorius. Would highly recommend to friends and other travelers to Rome.
Hotel Artorius is beautiful, fancy and cosy hotel. Location is great, not far from the city attractions, but very quiet. Neighborhood very romantic. You can walk almost anywhere not using the public transportation. Staff is friendly, room is spacious and stylish, air-condition works well, bathroom built in marble, high sealing, TV,mini bar not expansive, terrace lovely, bed comfortable, breakfast excellent, espressos tasty...Nearby is via Nazionale with several supermarkets, several cute restaurants and good shops. I highly recommend this hotel - you will be extremely HAPPY staying in it.
I liked everything about this hotel...
If you are looking for a no frills hotel with a spectacular location, updated rooms, helpful staff, this is a perfect hotel. My son and I were on a site seeing tour of Rome and were using the hotel as a place to sleep. The staff was helpful, the location better and rooms a great surprise. It is only a couple of blocks from the main Rome attractions. There is no lobby, but a very nice outside breakfast area that serves a great latte.
It is a little difficult to find on a quiet side street. The front door is nondescript with a small sign.
I liked the location, the room and the staff were lovely. We left our bags there on or final day until it was time for us to go to the airport which was really useful.
We onlyha hot water in the shower once in three days. The breakfast was ok. The juices and smooties were lvely but the food could have been better. There was no offer of cooked breakfast and not much fruit avaliable. Also could ave provded some bottles of water in the rom
The hotel is in a beautiful, trendy part of Rome. We were able to walk just about anywhere. The furnishings are loely, the bathroom big and nicely appointed, and with the double glazed windows closed the room was very quiet. Breakfast was pleasant and adequate. We would definitely return to this hotel.
The hotel employees were very helpful by providing directions and information. The breakfast was terrific, with nice touch of cappucino designs. The room safety was important and we appreciated this very much. We were two sisters traveling together and felt safe in the hotel. The supermarket was well stocked across the street and we purchased sandwich fixings to eat on our balcony. It was close to restaurants and located in a quiet area of cobblestone streets off of a major street.
The beds were hard, as were the pillows. The rooms do not have safes in them. You hand your room keys back to the front desk whenever you leave, which is typical in many European hotels.
Room was large for a Rome hotel. Very clean and nicely appointed. Bathroom large with best shower we had in any of our hotels on our 2 week trip. Our room had a beautiful balcony!
Check out time of 10 am seemed a little early.
Small and intimate, and perfectly located for what we wanted to do. Stroll around the tourist attractions ! The restaurants and bars within 100 metres were excellent and very reasonably priced. The hotel was charming and the staff were always helpful and friendly.Nice rooms and comfortable beds.
A small, cosy boutique hotel with only 10 rooms. But really generous in size. Great space for final packing after a long road trip. And the staff were extremely approachable, helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay here again.
